What You’ll Learn

Our community and workplace classer cover topics associated with cardiac disease, choking, unresponsive victims, and cardiac arrest for adults, children, and infants. Our objective is for students to leave the class with confidence in their ability to identify the signs and symptoms of a cardiac emergency quickly and how to resuscitate a victim of cardiac arrest, including the use of chest compressions and an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). These classes are for the “layperson” If you are required to maintain certification in “BLS” or CPR for the Healthcare Provider by your employer (i.e., dental office, medical office, and hospital), please refer to our CPR for the Healthcare Provider course. These courses are for renewing, recertification, or initial students in the healthcare industry.

Intended for:

Parents, Grandparents, Babysitters (12 years or older), Teachers, Coaches, Fitness Instructors, Nannies, Foster Care, Social workers, Camp Counselors, and all OSHA Mandated Employees.

 Not Intended for: 

Healthcare Field, (Doctors, Nurses, Medical Assistants, Dentists, Dental Assistants, and Day Care employees).

 Note – Childcare Provider courses provided through Medic First Aid are EMSA approved. See Childcare page for details.
