What You’ll Learn

Recognizing and caring for respiratory and cardiac emergencies for adults, children, and infants; two-rescuer CPR; use of a resuscitation mask (pocket mask) and bag-valve-mask. It also familiarizes participants with the help of an Automated External Defibrillation device for victims of sudden cardiac arrest. This course is recommended for medical professionals, lifeguards, aerobics/fitness sports instructors, and public and private safety security employees.

Intended for: 

Physicians, Nurses, Medical Assistants, Technicians, Dentists, and Dental Assistants. Anyone in the Health Care field.

 Not Intended for: 

Those who work in non-Health Care fields or the General Public. For those that need a standard HeartSaver car, please see the Community & Workplace classes offered

* The American Heart Association (AHA) requires you purchase the current course manual prior to any class you’re taking. Handbooks can be purchased through Channing Bete or Amazon.com
